poptop_stageThe PopTop Stage will be located at the end of the 2600 aisle on the Exhibit Floor.

 The 2013 installment of the PopTop Stage will focus on popular librarian favorites: Mystery, Sci- Fi, and Poetry. The PopTop Stage will feature readings, discussions, and presentations over the course of the exhibits. The PopTop Stage is located just beyond the 2600 aisle.

Foreword Magazine- Book of the Year Awards

For the past two months, a panel of sixty librarians and booksellers has labored to determine the winners of the ForeWord Reviews' 2012 Book of the Year Awards. Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, as well as the Independent Publisher of the Year and Editor’s Choice Prizes, will be announced at the ALA  Annual Conference in Chicago, Friday, June 28th, 6pm on The Pop Top Stage. The winners of the two Editor’s Choice Prizes will be awarded $1,500 each.

ForeWord’s Book of the Year Awards program highlights the year’s most distinguished books from independent and academic publishers. Librarians and booksellers eagerly anticipate this valuable resource for discovering obscure titles from the world of indie publishing.
