Exhibit Hall - Graphic Novel Stage

A lifelong creator, Nate Powell has been making comics for over 20 years, but burst into the public eye with 2008's SWALLOW ME WHOLE, which won the Eisner Award for Best Graphic Novel and was nominated for the LA Times Book Prize. Since then, his acclaimed books have included ANY EMPIRE, THE SILENCE OF OUR FRIENDS (with Mark Long and Jim Demonakos), and THE YEAR OF THE BEASTS (with Cecil Castellucci). His upcoming work includes MARCH (BOOK ONE), the graphic novel autobiography of civil rights icon and US Congressman John Lewis (with John Lewis and Andrew Aydin), as well as THE LOST HERO, the graphic novel adaptation of Rick Riordan's top-selling teen series HEROES OF OLYMPUS (with Rick Riordan and Robert Venditti). Hear him discuss all these and more, with plenty of visual treats!
