Description:

Sacramento Public Library’s alt+library programming (designed for people in their 20s and 30s) has led to the formation of an alt+Friends group and a growing cohort of library advocates. Through focused programming and marketing, such as the “You Belong @ Your Library” GLBTQIA series, Sacramento Public Library is demonstrating the value of its materials, services, and programs to all members of the community—with unexpected new advocates as a result. Attendees will learn techniques to apply in their library and be invited to share their advocacy successes.

I have to catch my train home at the time of this program. Is there anyway I could get a handout for this please?

I second Stephanie's request! I unfortunately can't make it to the session, but I'm very interested in this topic and would love to follow along if anyone is Tweeting it and/or with the aid of a handout.

Thanks!
