A thought-provoking session for anyone interested in the foundations or history of librarianship. Each year, LHRT's research forum offers 3-4 presentations selected from proposals by top and up-and-coming scholars. The theme of this year's forum is library history as American history, a broad concept that embraces the pivotal roles that libraries have played in United States cultural, political, and social movements, as well as the influence of various national developments on library history.
